Pony and Pasty

The children come in at 9am and are allocated a pony to look after, they are then shown how to groom and tack up and are then split into 2 groups, one group will ride, the other will do stable management. They then have a break and swap over. The morning finishes at 1.15pm with a pasty or sausage roll for lunch. Below is a picture of Wes when the children had to select what to put on when going out on the roads.

Summer Camp

Starts at 7.30am on the Monday, the children collect their own ponies from the field, groom, tack up; go for a 3 hour ride. muck out, turn out their horses, and pitch their tents. In the evening, a fish and chip supper is had around the fire, games are played and the children camp overnight. On the Tuesday we usually have; handy pony, show jumping or Cross Country.
